Innovative activities
Start with 2021, JSC Prykarpattyaoblenergo has been actively participating in international innovative projects aimed at developing energy infrastructure, implemented within the Horizon Europe Grant Programme. At the end of 2024, the Company successfully completed the ELECTRON project aimed at improving the sustainability of the energy system.
Work is currently underway within the framework of eFORT, which focuses on improving the protection of energy networks. A new project, SECURE-NET, has also been launched, opening up new opportunities to improve the reliability of electricity supply.
In 2024, with the support of the USAID Project “Ukraine's Critical Infrastructure's cybersecurity”, the company began cooperation in the field of diagnostics and improvement of information security, applying the methods and recommendations of the NIST CyberSecurity Framework standard. Due to international cooperation, the company is improving its energy infrastructure management system, implementing modern digital solutions, and strengthening information security measures.
Cooperation with international partners allows us to apply the latest approaches to upgrading networks and ensuring a stable power supply. International innovative activities are aimed at improving the efficiency, sustainability, and continuity of electricity distribution. We strive to create a modern energy system that meets European standards and guarantees reliability for every consumer.
